The aim of this project was experimenting with making a modular asset that could also fill the role of a hero asset. This gave me a good opportunity to practice indoor lighting, especially creating a dark space that while appears futuristic and clean, simultaneously feels almost claustrophobic and uncomfortable.
I also experimented with particle effects and how I could use them to reinforce the narrative of the assets. In this case I used them show the freezing air coming from and below the Cryo Pod.
